We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wood Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. As a key member of a dedicated assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling wooden components and products according to specifications, using hand and power tools, including specialized woodworking machinery. This role emphasizes meeting daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and teamwork in an efficient assembly line environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble wooden products and components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
  • Fabricate parts as needed, ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Operate standard hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals
  • Perform routine quality inspections to ensure functionality and finish
  • Report defects or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
  • Handle materials safely, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent heavy lifting

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in wood assembly
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in hand and power tool operation
  • Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of woodworking processes
  • Experience working on an assembly line
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Physical stamina to meet job demands, including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical demands may vary depending on assignment and client-site requirements.
