This acute care facility provides specialized hematology and oncology services within a structured outpatient clinic environment. The facility operates with established clinical protocols and workflows designed to support coordinated oncologic and hematologic care delivery on a locum tenens basis. Clinical resources are in place to facilitate quality cancer and blood disorder care throughout all covered assignment periods.

Louisville offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural, historical, and entertainment attractions suited to varied interests. Points of interest include the Kentucky Science Center and the Kentucky Derby Museum. Outdoor spaces such as Waterfront Park, the Big Four Bridge, and E.P. Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on a day shift schedule, managing 22-25 patients per day. The clinical scope is 90% benign hematology and 10% medical oncology, encompassing the evaluation and management of established and new benign hematology patients within an outpatient setting. No call coverage is required for this assignment. The adult patient population is served exclusively within the outpatient clinic environment throughout all designated coverage periods.
