Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel components and structural assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Measure, cut, and fit metal pieces prior to welding
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
• Operate angle grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with fabricators and shop leads to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience in MIG welding in a steel or metal fabrication setting
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
• Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to weld quality
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in physically demanding conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Welding certification or vocational training is a plus
