Minimum Qualifications

Two years of welding experience or a diploma from a welding trade school

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail and process-oriented working genius

Strong print reading skills

Ability to set up fixturing for weldments

An understanding of quality requirements

The successful candidate will have MIG welding experience with steel. MIG welding experience with aluminum and TIG welding experience with Stainless Steel a plus.

Summary

This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor. This position is classified as full time. This position involves following shop drawings to weld and fabricate steel fixtures, tooling, structural steel sections, specialty truck beds, and more.

Pay: $23.00 - $31.00 per hour depending on experience and competence

Shift:

• 8 hour shift - Overtime frequently available

Physical Requirements

Individuals need to stand for periods of more than one hour at a time. This position will require walking primarily on a level concrete surface for periods throughout the day, going up and down stairs, and climbing. This position will require reaching above shoulder heights and below the waist, as well as standing, stooping, and kneeling.
