Job Description Job Description Qualified Staffing is hiring a TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in Lawrenceville GA!
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm Pay: $25-$30, Based on Experience RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Welds aluminum, steel and stainless-steel parts with TIG welding equipment.
  • Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench of floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.
  • Select torch, torch tips, filler rod and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of metal being welded.
  • Connects regulator valves and hoses to gas cylinders and welding torches.
  • Adjusts regulator valves and performs welding operations.
  • Examines welds for bead size and other specifications.
  • Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag or spatter.
  • Cleans and degreases parts as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Certificate from college or technical school
  • 5+ years related welding experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, blueprints, and layouts
