Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join a high-performing General Surgery service.

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Must have active NC license and NC DEA
  • Start Date: October 1, 2025 for 3 months
  • Flexible Scheduling: Full-time or part-time choose between three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
  • Shift Hours: Monday Thursday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Join a collaborative surgical team where you will:
  • Round on pre- and post-operative patients
  • Evaluate and manage new consults
  • Coordinate patient care
  • Occasionally assist in post-op clinic (non-operative position)
  • Support Team Includes:
    • 1 attending surgeon
    • 1 senior resident (PGY 4/5)
    • 1 junior resident (PGY 1/2)
  • Ideal Candidate:
    • Familiarity with acute surgical conditions such as: Abdominal pain, Appendicitis, Gallbladder disease, Bowel obstruction, Hernias, Diverticulitis, Pancreatitis, Perforated viscus, Soft tissue infections
  • EMR: Cerner Powerchart
  • Competitive hourly rate, malpractice, travel and housing covered as needed
