Schedule: Ongoing beeper call coverage with a 30-minute response time

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient General Surgery with hospital call responsibilities

Patient Volume: Approximately 7-10 patients per shift; low-volume call with 0-4 consults and patient encounters per 24-hour period

EMR: MedHost

Required Skills: Adult General Surgery, trauma call coverage, laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy

Board Status: Board Certified required (General Surgery)

Licensure: Active New Mexico license required

Certifications Required: ACLS and BLS

Credentialing: Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates

Support: Established hospital program with inpatient and outpatient coverage responsibilities
