Structural Steel Field Welder

We are looking for someone with actual structural steel field welding experience, not only shop or production welding.

Requirements

• 2+ years of structural steel field welding experience
• Experience with SMAW/stick welding
• Experience with FCAW/flux-core welding
• Comfortable working at heights
• Experience welding from boom lifts and elevated work areas
• Ability to read weld symbols and basic erection drawings
• Knowledge of fall protection and 100% tie-off requirements
• OSHA 10 preferred. Must be willing to obtain if not currently certified
• AWS certification preferred
• Must be able to pass an R&R weld test
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and able to report to work on time
• Able to work outdoors and travel to jobsites

Structural steel connecting and ironworker experience is a major plus.

Candidates who are experienced as both a connector and field welder are strongly encouraged to apply.

Pay based on experience and qualifications.
