Do you have mechanical aptitude and some shop experience involving measuring, shipping, labeling and basic tools?

This position is primarily assembling hoses along with various other shop duties

Specific responsibilities and authorities may include:

• Perform all assemblies at the highest possible level of quality.

• Minimize rework of assemblies.

• Clean all parts using solvents and other chemicals as directed in a safe manner.

• Maintain and care for shop tools.

o Obtain all specialty tools used on the job using the methods established.

• Calibrate equipment as needed according to company's procedures and work instructions.

• Carry out all duties and responsibilities in an ethical and conscientious manner.

• Support and participate in the organization's continual improvement program and conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting Quality Management System objectives. Understand the implications of not complying with the Quality Management System.

• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary education.

• Technical school certificate or associate's degree is considered a plus.

• Experience as described below may be accepted in lieu of education.

EXPERIENCE

• Hose Assembly preferred but not required

• Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is considered a plus.

• Strong personal skills and desire for growth as an individual and technician.

• Good communication skills.

• Good, safe work habits.

• Strong aptitude for mechanical conversion and assembly of equipment and mechanical systems.
