Retail Store Supervisor

Houston Food Market is located at 3428 9th St. Houston, BC V0J 1Z0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Retail Store Supervisor. If you are interested, please submit your application by email.

Position: Retail Store Supervisor
Wage: CAD$24.00 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts including, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
Supervise and coordinate staff;
Assign duties to retail staff and prepare work schedules;
Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise;
Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock;
Order merchandise that is low in stock;
Keep sales records for inventory control;
Handle customer complaints, issues and questions;
Train staff and monitor staff performance;
Ensure store front and the products are in clean conditions;
Work on displays and signage.

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required
1-2 years of retail sales experience is required
Language at work: English
