Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical problems
• Install and replace wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures and electrical panels
• Perform electrical service upgrades and new installations
• Diagnose electrical faults and recommend appropriate repairs
• Read electrical diagrams, plans and work orders
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and local regulations
• Clearly explain repairs and recommendations to homeowners
• Maintain accurate service records
• Follow company safety procedures
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas organized

Qualifications

• Previous residential electrical experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of residential wiring systems and electrical codes
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments efficiently
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Delaware electrical license or relevant certifications are preferred
