About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced CDL-A Flatbed Driver for a regional OTR position based in Coopersville, Michigan. This role offers hourly pay, primarily weekday routes throughout Michigan and the surrounding Midwest, with occasional deliveries to Ontario, Canada.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $28-$30 per hour
• Annual earnings: Up to $90,000 per year
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with some overnight runs
• Weekends and holidays off
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Flexible schedule
• Anticipated start date: May 18, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Regional OTR
• Freight: Flatbed freight, including potential steel coil loads
• Service area: Michigan, the surrounding Midwest, and select eastern and southern destinations
• International routes: Some deliveries to Ontario, Canada
• Equipment: Flatbed equipment and new equipment
• Freight handling: Light-touch freight

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on regional routes.
• Haul flatbed loads throughout Michigan and the surrounding Midwest.
• Complete routes to eastern and southern locations, including occasional deliveries to Ontario, Canada.
• Operate manual-transmission equipment.
• Secure and transport freight in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
• Provide reliable, professional service while meeting delivery schedules.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• At least 1 year of flatbed experience preferred.
• Enhanced CDL preferred for routes into Canada.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Steel coil knowledge is a plus.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
