Employbridge is seeking experienced TIG Welders for a full-time, permanent Day Shift opportunity in West Chester, Ohio. We are looking for skilled welders with strong stainless-steel welding experience who take pride in delivering high-quality work in a manufacturing environment.

Position Summary

The TIG Welder will perform precision manual TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel components and assemblies while ensuring all work meets quality, cosmetic, and sanitary standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working from blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel components and assemblies.

Set up, operate, and maintain TIG welding equipment, including torches, gas flow, and filler materials.

Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet quality and appearance standards.

Fit, align, and tack components prior to final welding.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.

Inspect completed welds and perform repairs or corrections as necessary.

Identify tubing, fittings, and materials according to specifications.

Maintain high-quality standards and welding compliance requirements.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Support and assist less experienced welders as needed.

Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

Required

2+ years of TIG welding experience, specifically with stainless steel.

Strong understanding of stainless-steel welding techniques, including heat control and back purging.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.

Experience welding material ranging from 16-gauge to 1/4-inch thickness.

Familiarity with butt, lap, corner, and other common joint configurations.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to become qualified in accordance with ASME Section IX welding requirements.

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments.

Experience troubleshooting and repairing weld defects.

Ability to mentor and support junior welders.
