Quality Safety Health and Environment Manager

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE/QSHE) Manager
Summary:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and OSHA regulations while promoting a culture of workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain safety, health, and environmental programs and compliance standards.

Lead Safety and Environmental Committees and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Conduct safety training, new hire orientations, and maintain training records and matrices.

Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, property damage, and near misses; implement corrective actions.

Manage OSHA reporting, injury records, and compliance documentation.

Perform safety inspections, emergency drills, and spill response exercises.

Develop and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS), including environmental objectives and compliance requirements.

Ensure employees receive all required safety and environmental training.

Promote employee engagement and a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma, GED, or Technical Degree required.

5+ years of Health & Safety experience, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.

Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

OSHA, CSP, ASP, CHST, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 experience/certifications are a plus.
