QUALITY INSPECTOR
LOCATION
Lancaster, TX Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20.68+/hour, based on experience (BOE)
• Schedule may include mandatory overtime and irregular hours
ROLE IMPACT
Inspect fitness equipment and electromechanical components throughout incoming, in-process, and final quality control (IQC/IPQC/FQC) stages. Ensure products meet engineering drawings, specifications, sampling plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements. This role combines approximately 60% warehouse work with 40% desk-based quality documentation, audits, and reporting.
KEY DUTIES
• Perform incoming/receiving, in-process, and final quality inspections on fitness products using approved inspection techniques, sampling plans, work instructions, and inspection equipment.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products and perform OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) sample inspections by assembling, testing, and repackaging products according to quality control plans.
• Complete quality audits, inspection reports, and related documentation using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections and electromechanical troubleshooting using calipers, micrometers, rulers, multimeters, ammeters, and related measurement tools.
• Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues and nonconformances, including corrective action follow-up.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of related quality inspection or quality control experience.
• Experience with quality audits, reporting, Microsoft Excel, SOPs, sampling plans, and visual or mechanical inspection techniques.
• Working knowledge of engineering prints, quality control practices, inspection and measurement tools, and electrical measurement tools.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Job requires the employee to be in warehouse (60%) and desk (40%)
• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items - The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Requires the ability to move around and maneuver products when necessary. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Quality Inspector training or certification and knowledge of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and contribute as a reliable team member.
