Quality Technician

Location: Itasca, IL
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime Available


Are you someone who enjoys working with precision, inspecting machined parts, and making sure quality standards are met? We are seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Itasca!


This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment who is comfortable inspecting machined parts and using precision measuring tools.


What You'll Do

  • Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
  • Use precision measuring tools including calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts.
  • Verify measurements and identify parts that do not meet specifications.
  • Communicate quality concerns and discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation.
  • Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to support quality standards.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, Machinist, or similar manufacturing role.
  • Experience inspecting machined or fabricated parts preferred.
  • Ability to accurately use calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with production and quality teams.
