Production Associate

SUMMARY:

Seeking physically capable individuals with a robust work ethic to be an integral part of the production team, which ensures the efficient processing of the company's metal products. This is a physically demanding role that requires grit and stamina.

PAY: $18 - $20/hr depending on direct skills and experience
BENEFITS AFTER HIRE: Vacation, Medical/Dental, Profit Sharing

AVAILABLE SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
After training, OT is frequent and expected - flexibility with hours preferred

DUTIES

• Read and interpret work orders, including units of measurement.
• Manually transport up to 50lbs and/or lift with team parts to staging areas for production
• Manually cut, trim, and edge wire borders
• Use hand tools
• Set up machines to start a production cycle
• Manually control and adjust machine settings (., speed) for optimal output
• Set up raw materials or parts to feed into machines
• Focus on making sure that quality aligns with production results

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 6 months of consistent, recent work in a manufacturing or shop work environment (metal or wood shop experience is preferred)
• Ability to stand, lift (up to 50lbs frequently), move, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and hand tools preferred.
• Exceptional hand-eye coordination
• Willingness to learn, apply knowledge, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and committed work ethic
