Power Systems Engineer for Utilities

Stantec, headquartered in Burnaby, BC, is actively seeking experienced engineers with a strong background in electrical systems and substation design. You will work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams to create efficient project designs while engaging in hands-on site assessments. This role emphasizes both technical expertise and effective mentoring of junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct power flow analysis and lightning protection studies • Design major equipment layouts and technical documentation • Collaborate with disciplines for complex technical challenges • Assist in proposal preparation and project planning • Ensure quality engineering services through QA/QC procedures Requirements: • At least 6 years of detailed engineering for high voltage systems • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (P.Eng required) • Familiarity with various engineering software such as WinIGS • Excellent interpersonal and multitasking abilities • Valid driver's license Leverage your skills at Stantec to contribute to the advancement of clean energy solutions.
