What You'll Do: Cover urgent and scheduled shifts including a key on-call weekend from 7 am on 5/14/2026 to 7 am on 5/15/2026 Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a well-equipped hospital environment Manage approximately one delivery per day, including low and some high-risk pregnancies Perform routine and complex deliveries, including C-sections and emergency procedures Conduct ultrasounds, FHR interpretation, and other OB procedures with the latest EMR documentation Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a staffed facility with supportive APPs and nursing staff Required Skills: Valid OB/GYN license with current certification Board Certified or truly board eligible in OB/GYN BLS and ACLS certification Proficiency in high-risk and low-risk obstetrics, including ultrasounds and labor management Ability to respond promptly within a 30-minute radius during on-call hours Excellent communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system Prior knowledge of high-volume obstetric practice Experience in a hospital setting with emergency procedures Ability to supervise or collaborate with other healthcare providers is a plus Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Active OB/GYN licensure and current Board certification At least 2 years of obstetric practice experience preferred Other Requirements: Willingness to cover scheduled shifts and occasional high-risk cases Reimbursement for travel, lodging, and transportation expenses Ability to mobilize quickly for urgent coverage needs Take this excellent opportunity to elevate your locum experience while making a meaningful impact in women's health.
