Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Minimum 5 shifts/month; coverage beginning August 2026
• Job Setting: Hospital
• Types of Cases: Emergency Medicine
• Credentialing: Providers must furnish: Current CV (month/year format), Mississippi Medical License, Mississippi DEA, Driver's License, Social Security Card, Diploma, Residency Certificate, Board Certificate or Eligibility Letter (if applicable), Case logs from the past 2 years, CME/CEU documentation for the past 2 years, Malpractice coverage history and current certificates

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Acceptable certifications: ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, AOBEM, AOBFM, AOBIM. Not accepted: APBS/ABPS. Must have completed residency training in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM). Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA only), ATLS, PALS, BLS required unless EM boarded
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license; Active DEA registration with Mississippi address covering Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, and V

Immunization Requirements

• COVID Vaccine
• Current Flu Vaccine
• Varicella: 2 doses or positive titer
• MMR: 2 doses or positive titers
• Tdap within the last 10 years
• Hepatitis B: 3-dose series and positive titer
• TB testing completed 0-30 days prior to start
