Place of Performance-Services will be performed in the Health Services Department of FDC SeaTac, 2425 S 200th St, SeaTac, WA 98198.
Schedule of Services- interchangeably coverage during the absence of the institution's full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, (i.e. during periods of sick leave, annual leave, deployments, vacancies and training). It is estimated that these services will be needed at various times throughout the year, possibly for one week at a time or just one day at a time. The schedule will consist of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays on an as needed basis. A session is defined as 1 hour. The hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with 30 minutes of an unpaid lunch. Not to exceed 40 hours per week.
Education and Experience- Physician Assistant services under this award must have graduated from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. The individual providing Physician Assistant services must also possess an active, current, full, and unrestricted license or registration in good standing to practice as a Physician Assistant from a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Description of Duties-The services to be provided are professional in nature and will be commensurate with the current accreditation standards and in compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations. These services, although not directly supervised, will be reviewed periodically by institution medical staff and the COR to ensure contract compliance. The Contractor shall adhere to all standards and regulations associated with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and American Correctional Association (ACA) Foundation/Core Standards for Adult Correctional Institutions. The manner and method of performance are the sole responsibility and within the sole discretion of the Contractor, provided, the Contractor performs the services in accordance with standards and practices consistent with those in the community. The Contractor's performance shall be monitored by the COR.
