Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient clinical team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat a diverse patient population spanning from teenagers to geriatrics, with exciting opportunities to help expand our growing pediatric clientele. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills in managing orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Experience in the McKenzie Method (MDT) is a strong bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.
- Administer targeted physical therapy interventions for a wide clinical spectrum, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and age-related conditions.
- Utilize advanced treatment modalities and manual techniques, including the McKenzie Method where applicable, to improve functional outcomes.
- Maintain clear, timely, and accurate electronic clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on plan of care, home exercise programs, and injury prevention techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, physicians, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy or Master of Physical Therapy).
- Licensure: Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (or eligible to obtain).
- Experience:
- Demonstrated background or strong interest in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Experience with or certification in the McKenzie Method (MDT) is highly desirable, but not required.
- Skills: Excellent communication, time management, patient motivation, and strong clinical decision-making skills.
