Location: Pearland, TX
Contract Length: 19 Week/s
Pay Range: 19.38/Hour - 22.50/Hour
Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Job Description:

• Provide professional and compassionate service to patients in a patient service center, physician office, or other assigned location.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections safely and accurately, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Prepare, label, process, and handle clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information, initials, signatures, and specimen labels for accuracy.
• Maintain required records and documentation while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills with patients, clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment while following established procedures.
• Travel between multiple patient service centers or in-office phlebotomy locations as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
• Keyboarding and data-entry experience required.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and multiple locations as needed.
