PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

General Description
The Physician is responsible for managing and organizing multiple operations of the practice. Daily responsibilities may include:
Patient Care
Responsible for training clinical staff
Manage vendor relationships
Coordinating all office workflows and patient information
Share data reports, practice financial information and other relevant information with physicians on an on-going basis
Oversee the Medical Supplies/Vaccines ordering
Oversee the NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home application process and contribute as needed
Responsible for maintaining NCQA standards and guidelines practice-wide
Responsible for identifying ad-hoc projects for the practice and/or recognition programs
Become Meaningful Use expert and train staff
Run reports as needed and set goals (registry reports for population management policy, Quality Measures data reports & MAQ dashboard reports)
Incorporate patient portal into the practice, assign roles, adjust workflows, train staff
To sign or close all documents, actions or encounters daily
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
work experience / qualifications
- Pediatrics residency/primary care experience
- Computer proficiency
- Customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience managing staff
- Budget/Financial expertise a plus
education requirements
- MD/Board certified
Bilingual : Spanish and English
