Locum Tenens Opportunity Physician (Pathology) Athens, GA

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Pathologist for an exciting Locum Tenens assignment at a well-established hospital in Athens, Georgia. This is a long-term opportunity (minimum 6 months) starting July 1, 2025, with full travel and lodging covered.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

  • Call: Rotating every two weeks (blood bank, organ procurement, frozen sections)

  • Daily Volume: cases per pathologist

  • Group Size: 2 pathologists with full support (6 histotechs)

  • EMR: Epic Beaker

  • Trauma Level: Non-trauma facility

Requirements:

  • Board Certification REQUIRED

  • Active Georgia License REQUIRED

  • BLS Certification REQUIRED
