Part Time Bookkeeper

S9 Design Build is seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for a financial professional with a strong background in GAAP and QuickBooks Online, who also holds a Notary Public commission. Prior experience in construction accounting or progress billing is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable.
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Provide Notary Public services for lien waivers, contracts, and legal documents.
• Assist with job costing, progress invoicing, and tracking project budgets.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper using QuickBooks Online.
• Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Active Notary Public commission.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in construction accounting (e.g., AIA billing, job costing) is a major plus.
