BEPC is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Medical Device Assemblers to join our client's manufacturing team in Liberty, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to enter the medical device industry and gain hands-on experience producing components used in life-supporting cardiac medical technology.
You'll perform a combination of assembly, testing, and production activities on medical device components used in implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs). You'll receive direction and work within established procedures designed to ensure every product meets strict quality and safety requirements.
Prior manufacturing experience is not required. Candidates who are reliable, comfortable performing detailed hands-on work, and able to follow instructions are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on assembly, testing, and production operations according to standardized procedures and detailed work instructions.
- Support the production of high-quality medical device components used in implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).
- Handle small components and perform repetitive production tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Follow detailed written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records to ensure proper product and inventory traceability.
- Inspect work and remain attentive to quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE and safety equipment.
- Support daily production goals and team performance targets.
- Participate with manufacturing leadership in monitoring individual goals and daily process performance metrics.
- Communicate production issues, quality concerns, and improvement ideas to supervisors and leadership.
- Develop a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude when working with team members.
- Support applicable Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance throughout the assignment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- No previous manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written work instructions.
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn new manufacturing processes and take direction.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive production and assembly tasks.
- Ability to handle small components.
- Ability to prioritize work based on timing, importance, and established procedures.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to learn and utilize electronic data collection systems and applicable software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow all established safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to consistently work the required Monday-Thursday, 5:30 PM-3:30 AM schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
While previous manufacturing experience is not required, candidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- Medical device assembly or manufacturing
- Production or general assembly
- Electronics or small-parts assembly
- Packaging or fulfillment
- Inspection or quality-focused work
- Cleanroom or regulated manufacturing
- Repetitive, detail-oriented production work
- Electronic production documentation
Work Environment
This position is performed in a medical device manufacturing and production environment and may require sitting or standing for extended periods.
The work involves repetitive tasks, detailed assembly activities, and handling small components, making attention to detail and consistency especially important.
Employees must follow all applicable safety, quality, work attire, and PPE requirements. Specific requirements will be reviewed during onboarding and training.
