MRI Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Screen patients for contraindications and obtain relevant medical history prior to scanning
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI safety screening and infection control procedures

Requirements:

• ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR) required
• Current Florida state licensure or eligibility to obtain
• Previous MRI technologist experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and contrast administration protocols
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative imaging team
• BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
