Modular Home Construction Project

Location: Romulus
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10-Hour Shifts (40+ Hours Per Week)
Pay: Competitive Rates Based on Experience
Employment Type: Contract to direct

We are seeking experienced skilled trades professionals for a large modular home construction project in Romulus, Michigan. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent hours and the chance to work on a growing, high-volume project.

Positions Available

• Rough Carpenters
• Finish Carpenters
• Electricians
• HVAC Technicians / Installers
• Plumbers
• Drywall Installers / Finishers

Job Responsibilities

Rough & Finish Carpenters

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Perform framing, assembly, and finish work
• Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and fixtures
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards

Electricians

• Install and terminate electrical systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Run conduit, pull wire, and install devices
• Troubleshoot electrical issues as needed

HVAC Technicians

• Install HVAC units, ductwork, and ventilation systems
• Read HVAC layouts and specifications
• Perform testing and startup procedures
• Troubleshoot installation issues

Plumbers

• Install water, waste, and vent systems
• Read plumbing drawings and specifications
• Test and inspect completed systems
• Maintain code compliance

Drywall Installers/Finishers

• Hang drywall panels
• Tape, mud, sand, and finish surfaces
• Repair imperfections and prepare surfaces for paint
• Maintain production and quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in your trade
• Ability to read blueprints preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• OSHA certification is a plus
• Must possess basic hand tools relevant to your trade
