Job Description Job Description MIG Welder Location: Richmond, VA Pay: Starting at $21/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm Now Hiring MIG Welders! Qualified Staffing is hiring experienced MIG Welders for a growing manufacturing and fabrication company in Richmond, VA. This position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding steel components while ensuring quality and accuracy. What You'll Do

• Perform MIG welding on fabricated steel frames, assemblies, and metal components
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Measure, mark, fit, and align materials according to specifications
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
• Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, grinders, and fabrication tools
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Prepare and finish welded components through grinding and sanding
• Utilize measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld quality
• Operate pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and hoists as needed
• Move, organize, and store materials throughout the production area
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Support production goals and team operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous MIG welding experience required
• TIG welding experience is a plus
• Fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• High school diploma or GED preferred
