Mechanical Project Manager

Our client is a growing organization in the Fayetteville, NC area seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This role will take ownership of local hiring efforts and support an internal reorganization initiative, overseeing project work valued in the $10-15 million range. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of relevant project management experience and is comfortable managing both people and process. Job Responsibilities - Supporting the estimating team to identify costs associated with normal work activities and unique conditions - Manage project budgets ranging from $10 million to $15 million, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting - Lead day-to-day project execution, keeping scope, budget, and timelines on track - Managing administrative staff and support personnel for projects - Responsible for purchasing, submittal and approvals, cost control, coordination, and subcontract management - Playing a key role in developing and maintaining positive relations with clients - Working in design build assist and design build environment Requirements: - 5+ years experience as a project manager on HVAC and plumbing projects - NC Mechanical or Plumbing licenses are a plus - Engineering license or training is a plus - Experience working with the following projects: hospitals, healthcare, government, offices, etc. - Proven ability to manage projects with budgets in the multi-million dollar range. - Comfortable coordinating local travel to job sites as needed. - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
