Material Handlers

Our client in Oshawa is currently seeking 30 Material Handlers to join their team on a seasonal contract basis!

If you're looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a great team, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Material Handler, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and prepared accurately while meeting daily production targets.

We're looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals with at least 6 months of order picking and packing experience, who are comfortable using warehouse equipment and RF scanners. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, committed to quality, flexible to work day and afternoon shifts, and able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Thornton Road North
Location: Pay Rate: $20.60/hour
Timings: Must be able to work any day of the week - 10 hours shifts either 6am-4:30pm or 5pm-3:30am

What's the Job?

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents.
• Follow ISO 9001 procedures and warehouse safety guidelines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience as an Order Picker/Packer.
• Experience using RF scanners.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work day and afternoon shifts.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to employment.
