Machine Operator

Job Description Job Description Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking motivated and detail-orientated individuals to join a prominent manufacturing team in Harrison. As a Production Operator or Machinist, you will be responsible for operating specialized broaching and grinding equipment, ensuring precision manufacturing of components used in various industrial applications.

Job Type: Full time, 1st shift.
Pay: $17/hr
Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical data to determine specifications and setup requirements.
• Set up and operate gear grinding or spline grinding machines with indexing equipment.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, cams, index plates, and grinding wheels.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to ensure quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including checking oil and coolant levels.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or machining certification preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and equipment.
