About the Position

TransForce is seeking a qualified CDL A Hazmat Driver to support local operations in Kernersville, North Carolina. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, daily home time, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $25 per hour, plus overtime and benefits
• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
• Start time: Between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start date: August 10, 2026
• Employment type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

• Route type: Local routes with daily home time
• Equipment: CDL A equipment
• Handling: No-touch freight with drop-and-hook operations
• Endorsement: Hazmat required

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Hazmat endorsement.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
