Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in clinic-based healthcare, providing essential nursing care and supporting medical staff in daily patient management. This position focuses on delivering compassionate care during regular daytime shifts, ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining accurate health records.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care and monitor patient condition in a clinic setting
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with treatments and procedures
- Perform patient assessments and record vital signs
- Administer medications as prescribed according to clinic protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) for each patient
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Support phlebotomy and other diagnostic procedures as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma or equivalent
- Valid LPN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Phlebotomy skills
- Proficient in patient assessment
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail
Schedule
Work hours will normally be between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The contractor will normally provide 8 (1) hour sessions per day, 5 days per week, excluding federal holidays. Not to exceed 40 hours per week.
Pay & Benefits
$25.22 per hour w/ an additional $4.57 per hour for Health & Wellness. Think of it as $29.79 per hour. 11 paid Federal Holidays, up to 57 hours of Sick Leave per year. Earn up to 2-weeks of paid vacation after your 1 year anniversay.
