Lead framer

The Lead Framer plays a pivotal role in managing medium-sized teams of 6 to 10 members to execute framing work primarily on commercial building projects. This position involves overseeing project planning, coordinating the framing crew, maintaining quality standards, interpreting blueprints accurately, and supervising site activities. The Lead Framer works with both traditional paper documentation and construction management software to ensure smooth project scheduling and documentation, while maintaining minimal client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize framing projects for commercial buildings
• Coordinate and lead a medium team of 6-10 framers
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
• Interpret and apply blueprint specifications accurately
• Supervise site activities and provide guidance to crew members
• Resolve on-site challenges and implement effective solutions
• Manage project documentation using paper-based and software tools

• 5+ years of framing experience
