The Journeymen Plumber will work on residential and commercial plumbing projects within small teams, performing installations, repairs, and maintenance to ensure safety and code compliance. This role occasionally requires emergency or on-call work and provides opportunities for growth into lead plumber, supervisory, estimating, and project management positions. Plumbers will utilize standard plumbing tools and advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain piping systems in residential and commercial projects
  • Identify and repair leaks and plumbing system faults
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards
  • Install plumbing fixtures and equipment accurately
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions using diagnostic tools
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Operate plumbing tools and advanced diagnostic equipment safely

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional plumbing experience
  • Completion of plumbing apprenticeship program
  • Valid Journeyman Plumber License
  • Proficiency in pipefitting and blueprint interpretation
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills
