Journeyman Plumber
J&K Mechanical, LLC.
The Journeyman Plumber will primarily work on residential and commercial plumbing projects, performing tasks such as pipe installation and leak repair while ensuring safety compliance. This role involves working under a Master Plumber, leading helpers and apprentices, and completing assignments independently. Occasional travel between job sites is required, with standard working hours expected.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain pipes for residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose and repair leaks and plumbing issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all job sites
- Lead and mentor helpers and apprentices during projects
- Work independently and as part of a team under the supervision of a Master Plumber
- Travel occasionally to different job sites as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience
- Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship program
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and pipe fitting
- Commitment to safety compliance
- Effective time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman plumber license
