Director of Nursing (DON)

We're seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead nursing services and clinical operations within our community. As our senior nursing leader, you'll help shape quality, safety, staffing, regulatory readiness, and the resident experience while fostering a culture of compassionate, person-directed care.

Salary: $125,000 to $160,000, depending on experience

• Lead, coach, and develop nursing leaders, nurses, nursing assistants, caregivers, and other clinical team members.
• Oversee resident care, clinical operations, staffing, documentation, care planning, medication management, and infection prevention.
• Drive quality improvement, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Provide leadership for complex resident needs, changes in condition, emergencies, admissions, and transitions of care.
• Partner with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote coordinated, high-quality care.
• Oversee staffing, workforce planning, departmental resources, and the nursing budget.
• Build strong relationships with residents and families while ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and compassionately.

• Current, active RN license in the state of Washington.
• 5+ years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, long-term care, senior living, rehabilitation, or a similar regulated healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of clinical quality, regulatory compliance, MDS, Medicare/PPS/PDPM, care planning, and infection prevention.
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain and maintain required certification.

Preferred: BSN or advanced degree and previous Director of Nursing or senior clinical leadership experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, senior living, or a Life Plan Community.
