Job Description Job Description Our client is looking for a Residential Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on residential projects in the Raleigh area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the work inside and out and enjoys keeping a job site organized and moving. You will guide a crew of up to five, keep projects on schedule, and make sure the work is done safely and to code.
Residential Electrical Foreman Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct a crew of up to 5 electricians, assigning duties and monitoring the quality and pace of their work
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders, and explain them clearly to the crew
- Plan and lay out installations to limit material waste, allow for future maintenance access, and meet
national and local codes
- Troubleshoot problems on site and help crew members work through them
- Enforce safety procedures and complete required paperwork, including timesheets and safety reports
Residential Electrical Foreman Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working as a residential foreman at an electrical contractor
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read prints and schematics and to bend conduit by hand
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with basic computer comfort for job-site paperwork
