Trusts and Estates Associate - Private Client

We are seeking a highly credentialed junior Trusts & Estates Associate (Class of 2024 or 2025) to join a leading Am Law 100 law firm in New York City.

The position is within a sophisticated Private Client practice advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate planning, wealth transfer, trust administration, and tax planning matters. The practice represents domestic and international clients and collaborates across multiple practice areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Trust and estate planning involving private equity and hedge fund interests.
• Domestic and international estate and tax planning.
• Advanced wealth transfer techniques, including vertical slicing.
• Advising on trust administration, fiduciary matters, and related tax considerations.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from a top-tier law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• Class of 2024 or 2025.
• Experience in sophisticated trusts and estates planning, preferably at a major law firm.
• Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• New York bar admission or eligibility for admission.
