Job Description Job Description Brookhaven Gastroenterology Associates is seeking a talented histology technician for our growing pathology lab located in Westhampton Beach. This is a full time, permanent, day position perfect for a highly motivated histology professional. Family-like atmosphere and great compensation. The ideal candidate has experience working in a variety of histology lab settings and is familiar with manual and automated histology techniques. Must be a quick learner, flexible, a confident microtomist, have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently. Major responsibilities include embedding, cutting, assisting with grossing/processing/staining as needed.
Qualifications:Minimum: Associates Degree with at least 60 science credits
Preferred : 5 + Years experience as a Histology Technician
Hours:Full Time Monday-Friday
Salary: Competitive depending on skill set and experience.
