Location: Monroe, GA
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Schedule: Any Shift
Pay: $18.50-21.50 per hour


About the Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, inspecting finished parts, performing basic machine adjustments, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, follows instructions carefully, and is committed to meeting production and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
  • Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform basic machine setup and tooling changes.
  • Identify quality issues and communicate problems to supervisors or the quality team.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Keep machines and the work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous CNC machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and work instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift materials as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


Preferred Experience

  • CNC mill or CNC lathe experience.
  • Experience with machine setup and tooling.
  • Familiarity with GD&T.
  • Experience using precision inspection equipment.
  • Manufacturing or machining certification.
