Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Cookeville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, multi-axis)
• Install tooling, fixturing, and work holding per job specifications
• Perform machining operations including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and grinding
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Document tool changes, and production adjustments

Qualifications

• CNC operating experience (mills, lathes, or multi-axis)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tight-tolerance machining
• Troubleshoot machine issues and resolve production problems quickly
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
