CNC Machinists Lathe or Milling (Program a plus) - any shift
Personnel People
Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate CNC lathes and/or milling including tooling, workholding, and machine offsets
- Interpret complex drawings, GD&T, and 3D models to plan machining strategies.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding methods.
- Perform first-article inspections and adjust offsets or tooling as needed.
- Troubleshoot machining issues to ensure repeatable, high-quality results
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G/M code) directly at the control or through CAM systems
- Part inspection and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret blueprint and drawings
- Knowledge of measuring tools such as: micrometers, calipers, indicators and gauges
Qualifications:
- At least two years previous CNC milling and/or lathe machine experience
- Programming experience is preferred
- Able to use various inspection tools such as: verniers, micrometers, drop indicators
- Able to read blueprints
Schedules available
- Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (1st Shift)
- Monday - Thursday: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM (2nd Shift)
- Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM (2nd shift)
Pay Structure
The pay is $28.00 an hour based on experience for operator level
The pay is $40.00 an hour based on experience for programming experience
