GRINDER / DEBURRER

Pay: $25-$28/hour depending on experience

Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time

Shifts Available: Day or Swing Shift (4x10 schedule available)

Location: Fremont, CA

Position Details: Contract-to-perm for the right fit

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking Grinders / Deburrers to support a precision sheet metal fabrication environment. This position is responsible for manually grinding welds and deburring metal parts, including aluminum, stainless steel, and steel, using hand-held tools to produce clean, smooth finished surfaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grind and smooth welds on fabricated sheet metal parts.

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from aluminum, stainless steel, and steel parts.

• Perform deburring and finishing using hand-held tools rather than automated deburring machinery.

• Visually inspect parts during the finishing process for burrs, rough edges, and areas requiring additional grinding.

• Handle parts carefully to avoid damage during grinding and finishing.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow shop safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous grinding, deburring, metal finishing, fabrication, or similar shop experience preferred.

• Experience using hand-held grinding and deburring tools.

• Experience working with aluminum, stainless steel, and/or steel preferred.

• Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on finishing work.

• Good attention to detail and ability to produce clean, consistent work.

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
