We are seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate vertical machining centers using Fanuc controls. This role supports a small machining team producing prototype components, small-batch parts, and high-volume production work. The position offers opportunities to advance toward CNC programming or a lead machinist role.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate vertical machining centers.
  • Edit CNC programs using Fanuc controls.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Set up fixtures for machining operations.
  • Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM equipment, optical measurement systems, and other inspection tools.
  • Perform quality inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance.
  • Produce prototype components, small-batch parts, and high-volume production parts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with CNC machining and vertical machining centers.
  • Experience with Fanuc controls.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Experience with precision measurement and quality control.
  • Strong attention to detail.
