The HVAC Service Technician diagnoses, maintains, repairs, and installs HVAC equipment while delivering reliable customer service and accurate service documentation. This role performs refrigerant handling, electrical testing, and preventive maintenance to support safe, efficient system operation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Repair HVAC equipment and related components.
• Install HVAC systems and equipment.
• Handle refrigerants in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Complete accurate service documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC service.
• EPA 608 qualification.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Experience with HVAC diagnostics and refrigeration systems.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with refrigerant recovery and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls.
• Technical documentation skills.
• Customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management skills.
