$2,000 signing bonus at 6 months, Willing to Train, Company Truck, $28-$35/hr

Seeking qualified, self motivated candidates with experience in commercial, industrial, and municipal water/wastewater pumping and treatment systems to include construction, installation, repair, and maintenance.

Job Description: The ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot water/wastewater treatment plant equipment and perform routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs. Install new equipment and be responsible for start-up and testing.

Successful candidates will have a strong troubleshooting ability in the mechanical and electrical control field to include PLCs, variable frequency drives, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, belting, valves, and basic blueprint reading. We are looking for a team player who can work in a fast paced and challenging environment. A candidate who is physically able to perform the duties of the job such as move heavy equipment/machinery rigging, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, walk/stand, etc.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Troubleshoot failures and repairs/maintains pumping station and plant equipment
• Fabricate new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Manage all required paperwork and records and prepare documentation (forms, reports, ect.) when needed
• Handle new and retrofit construction projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Journeyman's license preferred
• Understands the NFPA70 NEC book
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to run conduit and pull wire, i.e. perform normal tasks of an electrician
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers, vendors, and others
• Able to work independently on projects and as a member of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly professional and dependable
• Able to work a flexible schedule which could include a weekend day or holiday (rare)
• Basic smartphone, computer and internet skills

Candidates must have a valid VA driver's license and their own transportation to and from office or job site daily. Class B CDL or the ability to obtain within first 90 days is preferred.

Salary to be determined based on experience.
