The majority of employee work schedules at UMI, both office and production/warehouse, consist of four 10-hour days, Monday-Thursday, with optional three-day weekends or Friday overtime. What You'll Do

• Fabricate and assemble metal components using blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Use plasma cutters, soldering equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Safely rig and move materials using cranes or forklifts, as applicable.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with the team to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience as a welder, fitter, or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding and plasma cutting.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; rigging, crane, or forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good attendance and reliability are essential.

Pay: Based on experience.
